The biceps is usually regarded as the defining face muscle. As the name implies, the muscle of two muscle heads;

  • The short head  (caput breve)
  • The long head ( caput lungum)

The short head springs from the ravenbekuitsteeksel, the long head of the tendon plate of the radius. The biceps has many features, this muscle can we bend our arm through the elbow. The turning of the elbow joint is also made possible by the biceps. Think for example of the turning of a cap on a bottle.

We all know that a muscle needs rest to grow. It is important to know that the biceps to a lot of back and shoulder exercises is used as a synergist. But in everyday life the biceps must often work hard. It is therefore particularly important these muscles to give enough rest between your workouts. Depending on your training intensity level, you should rest between 48 and 72 hours for a full recovery.

The breast consists of one pectoralis major muscle on each side of the sternum. Because of the unique shape and the attachments to the bones of the shoulder belt, it is possible to train the upper, middle and lower part of the pectoralis. In your training you should therefore vary by performing angled, flat and reclining pressure and flye exercises.

Bench press is simply the most popular fitness exercise for the chest muscles. Please note that with this exercise mainly focuses on the middle part of your chest muscles.

Variation in the various fitness exercises is necessary to develop your entire breast. Vary as well as fitness equipment with dumbbells. Generally care dumbbells for a better development of the muscles. This is because exercise equipment almost always moves in a fixed orbit, with dumbbells you should take the job itself and each correct.

The brachioradialis is one of the muscles in your forearm. 
This muscle is located on top of your forearm. To be precise, it runs from the lateral side of the humerus up to the head of the radius.  

The brachioradialis has a function of the elbow joint, it causes flexion (deflection). It also serves as a synergist of the biceps, that is to say that it cooperates with the rod to come out of movements.

Fitness exercises for the brachioradialis are reverse curls with the barbell (rod with weights), dumbbell or cable. You hold in these exercises your palms downwards instead of upwards directed or your body.

Beware of overtraining, the brachioradialis is already heavily taxed in many fitness exercises (especially for back and biceps training).
